Parents/Guardians,

 

I have 2 exciting announcements; MBDA will be performing on December 12^th on NBC 15 news channel to help raise money for the Salvation Army this year!  We will start working on a Christmas dance this week.  Every child 3 & up is invited as long as you ordered the sweat suit!     We would like as much student involvement as possible because this is for a wonderful cause.  I will send you more information and details if you sign up!  The 2^nd announcement is that we will be walking in the Eastern Shore Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6^th.  Everyone participating will meet at the Eastern Shore Center no later than 8:00 a.m. We have to be in our group ready to walk at 8:10.  Children under the age of 5 will be required to walk with a parent or guardian. Parents are not required to have sweat suits, but please wear Christmas colors.

 

Visitor days will be in January this year! On these days, parents are invited to come, watch their children dance, and see how they are progressing. 

 

Just a reminder, a $25 deposit for each of your child’s costumes was due on October 15th.   If you have not paid this, please do so immediately.  The remaining balance will be due on November 16^th.   I have already sent home the balance letters, if you have not paid the balance in full by November 16^th, your child will not have a costume.  The pictures of the costumes can be found on our website. If you are not receiving month emails from me, please email me, so that I can add you to the email list.

 

Your child should have ballet, tap, and jazz shoes by now if they are taking these classes.  Your child should also have a black or pink leotard and pink tights.  Parents who have children that dance after school, please send a healthy snack, (no candy please).

 

Thanksgiving holidays are November 26, 27, and 28.  There will be no dance classes on these days; your child is welcome to make up her class at any of our other locations!  No dance classes at St. Dominic next Monday because the school is out, and  St. Mary’s will not have dance on the Tuesday, November 11^th because school is out.
