"Miss Stephanie" Clower is an Instructor Choreographer at Mobile Bay Dance Academy Inc. Miss Stephanie began her dance training at the age of 3. In Mobile, she studied under instructors Gale Frey and Buffy Covington and in Tuscaloosa she was under the instruction of Rita Snyder and Cornelius Carter. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 2004 with a degree in Dance Education. Through her dance career, Miss Stephanie has competed in competitions to include Dance Makers, Inc., Showstoppers, Professional Dance Teachers Association and I Love Dance. She won a tap scholarship to Steps in New York City and is a former member of the Parapluie Dance Company. She has choreographed dances for The Academy of Ballet and Jazz Company to be preformed at Dance Masters of America and Applause Presentations as well as dances for The Eastern Shore Youth Ballet. She has also had the privilege of working with guest artists such as the Director of Broadway Dance Center, Pam Chancey, and former Rockette, Ashley Solomon. We are very excited to have her this year!
"Miss Rachel" Patrick is an Instructor Choreographer at Mobile Bay Dance Academy Inc. She began her dance training at the age of two. She trained under Gale Dunn Frey and Sherri “Buffy” Covington. “Miss Rachel” graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in elementary education. “Miss Rachel” is a highly skilled teacher and choreographer and has competed in various local competitions. Her choreography has a distinguishing quality and influential style that students find challenging and exciting. With determination, diligence, and high energy, “Miss Rachel” is an inspiration to all of her students.
"Miss Erin" Langan is an Instructor at Mobile Bay Dance Academy Inc. She has been dancing for over ten years. Erin is currently a student at the University of South Alabama. She studied under Gale Dunn Frey and Sheri "Buffy" Covington. She was the captain of McGill’s Varsity Cheerleading Squad and Captain of the AllStar Cheerleading Squad during high school. Last year, Erin furthered her dance experience by training and performing in New York City. Erin's choreography crosses all types of dance. Miss Erin brings her inspiration and love of dance into the hearts of children. "Miss Jenny" Reber is an Assistant Instructor at Mobile Bay Dance Academy Inc. She is currently training to be an Instructor Choreographer. “Miss Jenny” is a very energetic teacher/mentor, and instills great principles into our preschool dancers. She has been a great new addition to our talented staff. "Miss Kathryn" Boddin is an Instructor at Mobile Bay Dance Academy Inc. She is currently a student at the University of South Alabama majoring in Nursing. Miss Katie began dancing at the age of three at Dale Serano’s in Birmingham, Alabama. She then began lessons at the Birmingham Ballet Academy where she performed in the Nutcracker Ballet for four consecutive years and had the honor of dancing with the Russian Ballet. Traveling all over the South East, Miss Katie has had the opportunity to dance with professional choreographers from all over the country. She is a beautiful dancer and choreographer, and hopes that her talent and love of dance will make a difference in the lives of children. "Miss Lindsey" Wilson is an Instructor Choreographer/ Guest Instructor at Mobile Bay Dance Academy Inc. She has studied dance for over ten years in Wapakoneta and also Dayton, Ohio. She has completed extensive training through traveling and competing in various dance companies. Miss Lindsey is a member of Alabama Dance Council. This is her second year with Mobile Bay Dance Academy. She is also currently working towards her Bachelor of Arts at the University of South Alabama. "Miss Lindsey" believes every student has the ability to reach their highest potential in dance. "Miss Jessica" Olive is a Guest Instructor Choreographer at Mobile Bay Dance Academy Inc. She has been dancing for twenty two years. She trained under Gale Dunn Frey and Sherri “Buffy” Covington. “Miss Jessica” graduated from the Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She was a member of the 2000-2001 University of Southern Mississippi Dixie Darlings Dance Team. Miss Jessica attended numerous dance workshops throughout the Southeast. She is also a member of Alabama Dance Council. Miss Jessica frequently teaches classes at Mobile Bay Dance Academy Inc. and brings new and exciting choreography. She believes that training in the arts can be a wonderful addition to any child’s life, promoting discipline, coordination, strength, grace, and stamina. |
